WeWork’s next stop: Central Point
Warsaw, 25 July 2019 – WeWork, global provider of flexible and modern office spaces, continues its expansion across Poland. The company leased 5,500 sqm in its new sixth location - Central Point, Warsaw, a project developed by Belgian-based Immobel and scheduled for completion in mid-2021. WeWork was represented in the lease transaction by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield.

Immobel has chosen STRABAG as the general contractor of Central Point – an office project located in the heart of the Polish capital, at the corner of Marszałkowska and Świętokrzyska streets.
Cedet has been nominated as finalist for the MIPIM Awards 2019 in the category “Best Refurbished Building”
The Cedet building which was developed by Immobel Poland qualified for the finalists of the prestigious MIPIM Awards 2019 in the category ‘Best Refurbished Building’. Cedet’s redevelopment and extension design is the work of a consortium of architectural studios: AMC Andrzej Chołdzyński - RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky. The construction was completed in May 2018.

Immobel Poland is finalizing the revitalization and development of the legendary 22,328 m² CEDET building located in the very heart of Warsaw.
The office area of this emblematic project is now 100 % leased prior to delivery: the first tenants, including WeWork, will enter in the second half of 2018.

Immobel Poland, an investor and developer famous for its spectacular projects, completed revitalisation and development of the legendary CEDET building located in the very heart of Warsaw, at ul. Krucza 50.
Immobel introduces WeWork to Poland. An original community company has chosen Cedet as its first location in Central Europe.
WeWork – an international space, community and services provider, which provides innovative space to large and small companies in more than 20 countries will move into CEDET. The company, whose services are used by more than240,000 people, wiill occupy nearly 3900 m2 of space on the first and second floor of the building. The new tenant will also have an internal 275 m2 patio for its sole use. Along with the opening of the WeWork headquarters, Warsaw will become the 12th city in Europe, whose resourceful residents will be able to use such exceptional spaces.
The construction of Central Point – an office building located at the intersection of Marszałkowska and Świętokrzyska Streets – is about to start. The first stage of the construction is going to be implemented by Warbud SA
On 12 April, Immobel Poland and Warbud S.A. signed a contract for the first stage of construction works in the Central Point project.
Close to 8,000 m² of office space leased in CEDET
Immobel Poland marks a very successful end to 2017. Just before Christmas, the company not only signed a lease contract with Smyk, bringing a previous retail tenant back to the refurbished CEDET, but also attracted partners who will lease more than half of the office space in the building.

The modernised and expanded Cedet (CDT) will be put into operation at the turn of the first and second quarters of this year. From the beginning of the work, the investor’s intention was to reproduce the original appearance of the building before the fire in 1975. Immobel Poland also decided to recreate the original neon sign construction, which for years was a characteristic feature of the building’s façade. At the beginning of the new year, the renovated sweeping serpentine was hung on the side of the building.by Aleje Jerozolimskie.

Just before Christmas this year, 40 years after opening ‘the largest kids store in Poland’, Smyk representatives and the investor, Immobel Poland, signed the lease agreement.
Topping out ceremony: revitalised CEDET gains a second life
On October 19, representatives of investor Immobel Poland and the general contractor – Doraco Building Corporation Doraco topped the revitalized CEDET building in the center of Warsaw. The property, located at ul. Krucza 50, was not only modernized, but also expanded. The total area of the building, designed with the aim of prestigious offices and business premises will amount to approx. 22 000 sqm. The new installment of the investment will be commissioned around the end of the second quarter of 2018.
Construction of Immobel’s Central Point will start soon
The investor decided to change the name of the office building to Central Point, which is a straightforward description of the object’s great location at the junction of the main arteries of the city – ul. Marszalkowska and Świętokrzyska, located directly above the only intersection of two metro lines in Warsaw.
