Immobel is pleased to confirm the successful sale of The Cloud One Hotel Gdańsk and the adjacent parking facility, both integral components of the real estate project on Gdańsk’s historic Granary Island. Additionally, the delivery of nearly all residential apartments and commercial units marks a significant milestone in the completion of this transformative development.
The Cloud One Hotel, part of Motel One’s acclaimed “Cloud One” brand, recently opened to the public in November. Occupying a 7-story mixed-use building with a total area of 10,797 m², the hotel offers 327 elegantly appointed rooms designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers. The property has been acquired by Invesco Real Estate, the USD 90bn global real estate investment business of Invesco Ltd, on behalf of one of its long-standing German separate account mandates.
CBRE Poland facilitated the transaction as the broker. This sale underscores Immobel’s ability to deliver high-quality assets that attract leading international investors.
The parking facility, also part of the Granary Island project, provides almost 500 vehicle spaces across two underground levels, along with dedicated bicycle storage. Strategically located, it ensures easy access to Gdańsk’s historic center and nearby hotels, restaurants and bars. Designed with sustainability and user convenience in mind, the facility was acquired by Interparking Polska Sp. z o.o. and will open on December 10, 2024.
On the residential front, Granary Island now boasts 552 apartments and 37 commercial units, with nearly all completed and delivered. This phase highlights Immobel’s commitment to creating premium living and working spaces that seamlessly blend modernity with the historical character of the area.
Granary Island, a joint venture with Multibud, exemplifies Immobel’s expertise in urban renewal and strategic development at premium locations. Situated on Gdańsk’s historic Granary Island, the project has transformed the area into a dynamic hub of culture, business, and leisure. Recognized with the prestigious MIPIM Award for Best Urban Project in 2020, Granaria represents a model of sustainable, mixed-use development that honors local heritage while offering modern functionality in one of the city’s most sought-after areas.
