Immobel is announcing the sale of a plot of land in Wavre intended to accommodate the Saint-Pierre Clinic after its move from Ottignies.

This transaction will enable the Clinic to move closer to Wavre and offer more mobility to its future patients.

It is a great sale that adds to the Group’s various achievements already realised in 2019 and further underlines the performance of its teams.

An expected solution

It has already been several years since the Saint-Pierre Clinic in Ottignies made public its intention to move from its current site in order to support its expansion and build more accessible infrastructures. It received assistance from the Walloon government to develop a plan for the future, which is becoming a reality today. With the sale of its plot of land located in Wavre, Immobel is enabling the Clinic to envisage the construction of a new hospital at the intersection of the N25 and the E411, not far from the Décathlon store. It is a prime site of +/- 13.50 ha on which the Saint-Pierre Clinic will be able to develop a more modern hospital complex that is more environmentally-friendly and easier to access, both for future patients and for the Clinic’s staff.

Immobel: responsibility and performance

This new transaction is in keeping with Immobel’s ambitions to contribute to the modernisation of major infrastructures for residents and for the public authorities. In line with its role as a responsible urban player, the Group wishes to adopt a long-term vision for society by prioritising constructive transactions and by promoting mobility criteria. This sale adds to the Group’s various achievements already realised in 2019 and further underlines the performance of its teams.
